똑똑한 사람이 smart cookie라면,
강인한 사람은 tough cookie라고 합니다.
캠브리지의 설명은 이렇습니다.
a person who is able to deal with difficult situtation and
not be easily defeated, frigtened, or upset.
어려운 상황을 잘 대처하고 쉽게 이기거나 놀래키거나 당황시키기 어려운 사람.
콜린스의 설명은 이렇습니다.
If you describe someone as a tough cookie,
you mean that they are unemotional and are not easily hurt
by what people say or do.
만약 당신이 어떤 사람을 터프 쿠키라고 한다면,
그는 감정적이지 않고, 다른 사람의 말이나 행동에도
쉽게 다치지 않는다는 것을 의미한다.
그런데 저는,
나이가 드니 이가 약해져서.
쿠키는 부드러워야 좋더라구요.
새해에는 터프쿠키, 스마트쿠키가 되어보자구욧
